I used Air Cargo movers and Packers services for transporting my household goods and car. The deal was on 80% payment advance and 20% payment on arrival of goods. 1,18,000 was the amount billed to me including 18% GST which is around 15000 and Insurance charges around 20000. I already paid 85000 in advance and now before bringing my car the person is putting on a condition to make full payment. Also all my household goods have not been delivered because they placed my LCD TV in the car. Their packing was also sub standard. Initially their In charge mentioned that packing will be done in 3 layers 1st cardboard packing , then bubble wrap and then lamination, however, nothing of this sort happened. they brought some sheets for most of the packing and just laminated it. Bubble wrap was used on very few things. To pack most of my monitors and TVs they used my quilts and blankets only. None of the boxes were bubble wrapped or laminated. just the cloth bags were laminated only because I insisted. When my goods arrived following things were broken:
1) leg of Dressing table,
2)Glass of my side cabinet,
3)Top board of side table
4) TV trolley and center table top were bent, due to heavy boxes weight kept on it.
5) Bookshelf top dented and bent.
6)Study table drawer chipped in corner
7) Recliner sofa back cloth rubbed and torn at several places.
8) Few boxes I opened some crockery was also broken.
9) Glass side table, One glass top was displaced. They fixed it with feviquick , i dont know how long it will last.
And I am yet to open all my boxes and discover what all has been damaged.
And now before delivering my TV and car he wants full payment. What kind of service is this? Pathetic!!! Pls contact me and sort my problem.
