I'm writting this email after so loosing my patience completly and finally no way to get help hence writing review.
I had shifted my house hold items from Pune to Bangalore recently and for this I googled.
I provided all the necesary details like Source, Destination, how many BHK, Shifting Date, Mobile Number and Email Address. They provided 3 shifting prockers details to me and they all contacted me.
Among all the three I felt 'Icon Packers and Movers' since Pradeep from Icon Packers and Movers spoke very good to me and asked check list and I mentioned all the items and also put ~10 boxes. He provided promise that shifting will not cost more than 18,000/- hence I booked the Icon Packers by paying 1000rs as advance.
I mentioned the shifting date as 15-5-2023 and as they confirmed they came to Pune address at morning 10AM. Below are the issues I faced initially with them,
1. They have their own boxed which are very small and they count those Boxes as total box count. But I had done 4 times shifting before and all the boxes were bigger than this. I prefered No Broker at those time and I done a greatest mistake by choosing Icon Packers from here onwards.
2. They took all the items and asked for Tips and I payed 1000rs as Tips and 200rs for taking the box wastes.
3. Once the vehicle left the home and after 30 minutes, I got a call from Chennai Icon Packers and Movers and saying I have more Boxes of items than the commited 10 boxes which I provided Initially, hence they asked for more money. (During my first call only Pradeep would have told me that, the price will vary based on Box count, so i would prefer other Packers.)
I fighted with them and the Person who has been coordinated with me (Names: Pradeep) told. "If you don't need our service, take your house items from their Warehouse (:-@). I was very upset and asked him what I need to do? He told to pay more money
I asked how much, and He asked me to say the money from my end (LOL). I said I will pay additional 4000rs and please continue shifting.
But our mutual agreement was to deliver in 3 days. Considering this situation, I took flight at Pune on the same day(8,000RS) and came to Native to pick my family and came back to Bangalore by Next day only. But my item didn't reach after 3 days also. ( My flight cost is waste here since the items came after 6 days only)
4. During transit only I got call from Pradep to pay 18,000RS + 3000 Insurance + 3%GST of total 29,160RS which shooked me and I said I will pay once you deliver the items. But he denied that asked to pay full payment then only they will come to Bangalore (Really frustrated).
5. I paid full payment with no hope and till then we didn't receive our items another 3 days also.
6. We were very disturbed since we paid full payment and still item didn't come. Finally after so many followups and calls it came with damaged items and missing items.
Below are damaged Items and Photos of all:
1. Thriple Wooden Bed Cot broken,
2. Steel Alhamari Broken
3. Steel Table Broken
4. Mandir Broken
Below are missed Items
1. 2 costly chairs (Total 1500rs)
2. One plastic pot full ah items.
3. Water Dispenser
4. Floor Washing Items.
We called pradeep and he said, missed items will come but after 30 days also we didn't receive any item or compensation for broken items.
Why the hell we paid Insurance for the Items, if no money will be provided for broken items?
Why no one took respensible from Icon Packers and Movers for this loss of customer?
Why did the missing items still not received our place?
Finally we had a hot discussion with Pradeep and he said if we need, we have to come to their warehouse to pick the chair(Frustrated). So This is not a proper Shifting Company and they are dumping all the customer Item into one Big vehicle and once it is filled they are moving from Pune to all the customer places, thats why It was delayed and broken shifting.
