Highly Unprofessional Movers & Packers - NOT Recommended
I did my household & vehicle movement in May, 2022 from Noida -> Bangalore via Runway International Packers & Movers. My overall experience with them has been very negative on following aspects -
a) Hidden Charges - At the time of initial quotation, it was mentioned to me that there are no storage or other delivery charges at destination for up to 15 days. They ended up charging me 7000 extra for delivery at destination.
b) Very poor way of Packaging - They stacked multiple crockery pieces together with no bubble wrap or other cushions that ended up breaking 20-30% of such items.
c) Minimal Bubble Wrap & Lamination Packaging used - Generally speaking, all the goods should first be laminated & then packed in cardboard. Otherwise cardboard has a tendency to leave its brown color on your Sofas, ACs and other products. In my case, they directly packed stuff in cardboards with no bubble wrap or lamination. This ended up in staining multiple products permanently.
d) Poor Handling during Loading & Unloading - Despite detailed instructions at the time of loading, the AC copper pipes were completely bent & several items were stacked over each other irrespective of fragile / delicate items. This lead to a lot of breakage.
e) Non Responsive for damages & insurance claims after the initial payment has been made. f) Expensive Insurance - Please get you own Marine transit insurance via Policybazaar. You can get good ICICI Lombard policy at 1/3 of the price charged by Runway. g) Dented Vehicle - The vehicle was dented at the time of delivery. When asked, how did this happen - they first denied saying that it was a preexisting dent. Luckily I had made a video at time of handover which showed clearly that there was no dents earlier. At the end of all this, Runway continues to be non-responsive to my calls/messages & I am struggling with insurance on my own.
