The first thing you should note is that the same person (Sandeep Sharma) owns both Trans Cargo Logistics and Quick Move. Thus, this review is applicable to both companies{The owner will give quote under one company, pick up the items in the name of another company, and finally ask you to pay to a different company}. Sandeep is a fraud and a thug. Let me first start with the quotation experience. I enquired with several companies (for packing and moving items through a closed truck) and this person gave me the cheapest quote of Rs.18K+GST. However, after loading my items and taking it, he blackmailed me saying that he would ship the items only if I paid Rs.24K+GST (look at the bill) {also read these other Quora answers which I only recently came to know - https://www.quora.com/How-are-QuickMove-packers-and-movers}. I argued with him and he finally agreed for Rs. 25K in total. But, his attitude and tone were pure thug-like (blackmailing me to pay only after which he would move the items). The thing to note here is that I had been asking (since two days before the packing was to be done) him for a bill, but he never responded. Instead, all he said was that he would send it. His strategy is to start terrorizing you once the items are in his position.
Now, the actual performance of the company. First the packing aspect of the company. It is absolute bullshit. They act cheap and do not use sufficient quantity or quality of cardboard and bubble wrap. So, the packing is pathetic. Moreover, they said no packing would be done for my rose wood furniture and my Godrej almirah (which is shocking given that they are heavy and valuable items). This led to the damage of items during transportation. This is the unprofessional part of the company. From here, the company and its owner stoop to even more cheating tactics.
The transport arrangement showed the unethical and criminal aspects of the company. How the owner cheats people is by picking up items with one vehicle and shipping them with another lower grade vehicle. The vehicle that came to load my items was a truck (TN-12-Z-5229. I have the loading time as my apartment has ADDA software for security monitoring. The truck arrived at my apartment in Chennai on 8th Jan 2021 at 08:04 Hrs and exited at 09:27 Hrs. I was assured that it would be delivered to the destination in Trichy within 8 hours, by 17:00 Hrs on the same day. I had specifically insisted that the delivery must happen before 19:00 Hrs on the same day, as my destinations had strict restrictions on entry time of outside vehicles. However, the delivery happed only the next day at 07:00 Hrs. Thus, the assurance and commitment was one thing and execution was completely different. The SHOCKING thing was that, the original pick up vehicle (a covered truck for which I paid) was changed to a converted Mahindra Scorpio (TN-28-BB-7715), with my items closed by a tarpaulin sheet. The owner neither informed me of the change nor did he respond to any of my calls regarding the delay in delivery. Moreover, he charged for a closed truck and changed it to a simple vehicle closed by a sheet. This is one of the cheating I encountered.
Now, when I received the delivery, the damage to my items (rose wood furniture, fridge, plants, etc.) was very drastic. The damages was primarily because the vehicle used was small for the items loaded, leading to items banging against each other during transit causing the damage. The low quality of packing material did not help to prevent it. When I questioned the owner, he first said he will look into it (but he agreed that the damage was serious). This was at 09:30 AM in the morning. However, I became aware that he is not a man of his word and is a fraud (from the experience of changing vehicles and blackmailing for more money). I informed him that unless he gave me a surety amount of Rs.15000 (The fridge door alone would cost Rs. 6145+GST for replacement) I would not release the vehicle. Sandeep just cut the call, called the vehicle driver and ask him to just leave the place (See the THUG attitude). Later, at 11:30 AM unable to bear the pressure from the deriver’s employer (who is a different transporter, as the company only acts as a mediator between us and them), Sandeep said via Watsapp message that he would bear the expenses for all damages. Now, I was also feeling bad for the driver and let the vehicle go. Later in the evening, Sandeep called me and said he would not do anything for the damage (used harsh tone for the same) and asked me to do whatever I can.
I am not willing to pursue any further with this issue. Ultimately, if you throw a stone in the sewer, only you get dirty. A person who is not a man of his word is no man at all. Nevertheless, Karma is a circle and I am sure that Sandeep will suffer in ways he did not even imagine existed.
Therefore, the only reason I am writing this review is in the hope that no further person gets cheated by this crook and fraud.
